Hayden's first cut

I finally gave in... I didn't want to cut her hair, it means she is getting older and I want her to be my baby for ever. But it was time. We weren't real sure how it was going to go, CP was a breeze but we just weren't sure how she would react. She did good, luckily there were alot of things to keep her occupied. Jessica did great and she didn't sqirm too bad. She was really entertained by her brother, which she usually is.

Am I allowed to backtrack?

Am I allowed to backtrack? Because we had such a great, busy summer and I have so many fun pictures I am so excited to share! These pictures are at the March Of Dimes walk that we participate in every year. They raise money for research on Premature birth. Hopefully we can help prevent premature birth one day! They featured posters with stories of babies born too early, CP had his one poster telling his story. The two boys in the picture are twins that were in the NICU with CP and are now in his class at preschool. We make a point every year to get a picture of the boys together.

Daddy's Day

So we had Daddy's birthday "party" and as you can see the kids loved the cake. How much fun it is to watch the kids have at it. Hayden is a fan of cake for sure!

Starting off...

Ok Finally I am finding time to get this thing up and off the ground. For those of you who are checking into the Cofer Family after several years, I am going to backtrack a little. And for those who have known us for the last five years, I have some cute pictures I am dying to share. As some know and to fill in all others, our son CP was born very early, at 24 weeks weighing 1 lb and 7 ozs. He is surely our miracle. He is now quite the vivacious 4 year old now. This summer they had a NICU reunion, and we had the opportunity to spend some time with the wonderful people who took such amazing care of our sweet boy during his 167 day stay at UVA. We also got to spend sometime with other families who we grew close to, and have also endured a similar experience. We thank God everyday for these blessings that we have and cannot wait to see what big plans he has for CP.

I am sharing a few pictures from the beginning of his journey, then a few from the reunion.
Sometimes I just look at these pictures and it just amazes me how far he has come.
